JOB SUMMARY:
Performs all procedures necessary to ensure the safety of information systems assets and to protect systems from intentional or inadvertent access or destruction. A Fortune 500 company is re-architecting an existing US based web application and deploying it to its European locations. As a result, the product is being rebuilt from the ground up as a global, enterprise level app. A new development team is being formed to accomplish this task. This application is a customer self-service product that is used by customers to run reports, edit data, and manage their accounts. After it is deployed to 15 European countries, it will then be brought back to the US and deployed to the US based customers. The Project manager role will be primarily be to track the efforts of the new team. We will be using Agile/Scrum in a TFS environment. The ideal candidate will be a very detail-oriented, task based person that can follow through items to completion by getting estimates, status updates, and commitments from responsible parties. This person will be required to communicate this status to groups outside the dev team, and manage expectations and status reporting in large corporate environments. Able to hold regularly scheduled meetings and keeping them on topic.
Required:
: 5-10 years Project Management experience.
: Expert level communication skills: experience working in large corporate environments, clearly express thoughts, easy to understand and quick to understand others.
